India and China are growing stronger ties with each other as well as becoming stronger individually, with the US-China trade tension still in effect this is leading India and China getting close together and India being a part of BRICS and the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) its only expected.
The US tariffs imposed on China has result in china looking for new trade partners to replace the USA, one of those replacements which is also becoming a very important ally to China is India. India and China in recent months have signed a new internal security cooperation agreement which will further strengthen their engagements.
China and India do have disputed territory as reported by ewn.co.za, but these disputes are giving way to trade deals and collaboration. The two countries have also pledged to fight protectionism and promote a multi-polar global economy.
China and India have a lot of pull with regards to growth of global GDP, the world is also more dependent on their booming economies. It was also reported by forbes.com that China and India could possibly replace the US-EU dominate role in terms of global politics and leadership.
