Six South African Universities on BRICS Top 100 Universities
A total of six South African universities have been ranked among the Top 100 universities in the Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) BRICS University rankings for 2019.
In the 2019 rankings 403 universities were considered, an increase from the 300 in 2017.
According to IOL, “a larger QS survey database as well as high levels of competition, and an increased number of assessed BRICS universities are factors that impact the top South African Universities the most.”
Here are the six South African universities that are in the Top 100:
