The ICC Women’s World T20 has now progressed to the semi-finals. South Africa’s women cricket team the Proteas won their final group A match against Bangladesh (winning by 30 runs) on Sunday. However, they were unable to progress as the West Indies won the group and England finished in second.
India and Australia faced off as well on Sunday in match for group B dominance. India prevailed (winning by 48 runs) meaning that India and Australia will move on to the semi-finals to face off against England and West Indies respectively.
The Women’s World T20 semi-finals will definitely be high level match as West Indies are previous Champions. Australia have won the Tournament 3 times and were last tournaments runner up, not to mention that England have also own this tournament back in 2009 and have come in as runner up
